Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pa., Penn State Cancer Institute is southcentral Pennsylvania’s only center offering comprehensive cancer services. Research plays an important role at Penn State Cancer Institute through the discovery of new treatments while ensuring that current treatments are being used in the best ways possible. Physicians and researchers alike are at the forefront of personalized cancer care to prevent and treat cancer, including risk assessment and counseling, genetic and technological screening for cancer, personalized monitoring and dosing of chemotherapy. Unique clinical trials are also available for patients at various stages of cancer.
